Supported Organizations 2025

Atlantic donated more than $274,554 to over 100 local community organizations throughout Maine. Some of these organizations include American Legion, Animal Welfare Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Club of Southern Maine, Girl Scouts, Junior Achievement of Maine, Maine Needs, Midcoast Senior College, SCORE, Special Olympics, Sweetser, Topsham Parks & Recreation, Wayside Food Programs, Westbrook Rotary, and WinterKids.

Atlantic's Ending Hunger Campaign 2025

Throughout the year, Atlantic donated and raised $159,329 to support the Campaign for Ending Hunger in Maine. Donations were made to benefit local hunger organizations such as the Biddeford Food Pantry, Bon Appetit Community Meal Program, Buxton Community Service Food Co-op, Cumberland Food Pantry, First County Foundation, Footprints Food Pantry, Freeport Community Services, Hollis Center Church Food Pantry, Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program, North Berwick Food Pantry, Old Orchard Beach Community Food Pantry, Saco Food Pantry, Saco Meals Program, Saint Lukes Food Bank, Sanford Backpack Program, Sanford Food Pantry, Tedford Housing, Waterboro Community Food Pantry, Westbrook Food Pantry, Vineyard Church of Greater Portland Food Pantry, York Community Service Association, and the Good Shepherd Food Bank.

Maine Credit Unions' Ending Hunger Facts 2025

Maine credit unions contributed $1,496,116.71 to end hunger in 2025 and supported 298 organizations across Maine, including local food pantries, meal sites, and schools. Since 1990, the Maine Credit Unions' Campaign for Ending Hunger has raised over $16.3 million to help end hunger in Maine.

The Atlantic Federal Credit Union Foundation is focused on providing funds to nonprofit organizations that strengthen, support, and promote the common good in the communities that Atlantic Federal Credit Union serves. Click here for details.

Financial Education in Schools

Atlantic Federal Credit Union is a big believer in education and financial education. We want everyone in our community to do better. Atlantic staff visits local schools to help teach students the keys to financial fitness.
